Sunny Day

Sunny Day is an animated television series produced by Silvergate Media. It was loosely based on Abie Longstaff's book series The Fairytale Hairdresser. The show was an international co-production between the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada. Plot Sunny Day is about the title character Sunny, a tweenage hair stylist who runs her own salon with the help of the hair colourist Rox, the receptionist Blair, and her dog Doodle. Each episode follows a very loose format with several recurring elements. Most often, episodes include a "gear up and go" sequence where the characters prepare to use the Glam Van for a mission. Every episode features an original song at the climax and ends with an epilogue where Sunny creates a specific hairstyle. These hairstyles are featured in the Style Files tutorial series.
